Meet Sarah Anderson
During a 2017 U.S. Army National Guard Cyber Shield event at Fort Williams, Utah Sarah learned the cybersecurity threats to national security and impact on commercial interests. A year later, Sarah became the legal liaison to the Louisiana Cybersecurity Commission, authored six (6) new state laws, and completed the SANS Institute Course on the Law of Data Security and Investigations. Noticing a gap in legal services, Sarah left her a “Big Law” equity partnership and opened her own cyber law practice in January 2020.
Combining resilience and innovation, Sarah’s law practice and cybersecurity research prospered despite multiple calls to military service proving her belief in the demand for cyber legal services.
